We had an incredible stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location, nestled in artistically landscaped gardens, provided a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The service was top-notch, with room service, dry cleaning, and housekeeping ensuring that our every need was met. The hotel staff were attentive and friendly, always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were impressed with the range of amenities, including a refreshing swimming pool, beach access, and even a night club for some lively entertainment. The beachfront location was perfect for snorkeling, and we enjoyed spending time in the aqua park and soaking up the sun on the comfortable sun loungers.

After 31 days of travel, I have decided to keep the review of Tobya boutique for last. We arrived in Tel Aviv and stayed in Jerusalem a few days before taking the bus south to Eilat. There, you cross the border on foot and arrive in the Zone Franche of Taba where the resorts of Hilton and Movenpick are. A little further and you pay the border tax. The Tobya is on a bend in the road at approximately km2,2. It has nothing around it. Allow me to decribe. The Tobya was built as part of the future Tobya Heights project but stands completely alone away from all the resorts and future resorts. Behind the hotel are the rugged cliffs of the Sinai. Up to the left is Israel and to the right, the Sinai. If you standing on their private beach overlooking the Gulf of Aqaba, you see Jordan in front of you, Saudi Arabia to the front right and Egypt sprawling out to your right. The snorkelling here is magnificent. Added to the fact that this hidden romantic jewel of a hotel, you also have coral, fish, rays and eels to look at. The decor is remarkable; a real boutique of ancient Egyptian artwork, most of which was made by the same artist. We spent 2 nights at Tobya. One on the way down to Sharm and one on the way up. It was our last night. The hotel was empty except for us and the staff. Samry is an exceptional receptionist and human being and the pool/beach attendant, Amra, is always around to help you. We had the pool to ourselves on a night when the barometers measured 35º. Romantic, difficult to get to but well worth the stay. A real find. One of those you don't ever forget.
Tobya has to be reached by car. If you are doing a Sharm trip such as we were. You might find it convenient to stay a night and then catch the bus from the station, 1km back towards the border. The 2km walk from the border to Tobya is relatively easy, but, there are taxis. Don't be put off; 20egp (2,7 euros) will get you to Tobya if you are carrying heavy luggage. If not, just walk. Seeing the Gulf of aqaba on your left and the Sinai on your right is wonderful. The food can be limited if there are few guests, but the grilled meat if wonderful and the restaurant tries its best to help you out. The staff, as I have already stated, is remarkable.

Welcoming staff, passionate and always available. Manager took us back to the border customs to check lost documents with his own car.
Much more effort to be done on food quality, mainly at breakfast

The hotel was located in a scenic area near the beach and offered a tastefully designed interior. Our room had a comfortable bed and a nice balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. the staff was friendly and willing to help with requests. the breakfast had a good range of options and tasted good. We also appreciated the availability of different sitting areas around the hotel and the free pickup and dropoff to nearby attractions.
There were issues with the water pressure in the shower and the hygiene at the buffet area was not maintained properly.

There was absolutely nothing I did not like.

This was really close to the border, which helped since we needed to stop on our way up Sanai from Sharm. It's a very artistic, quiet hotel - if you're from the Southwest in the us you'll feel right at home. The owner lives there and is very personable and friendly!
It's like a ghost town - probably due to the halt in tourism from the revolution. Taxi's don't want to take you the 2 km to the border because they hate Israel. This is a good place for getting to the border.

What an amazing experience! The location of the hotel was perfect for our trip, just a short distance from the Israeli border. The private beach was heavenly and we spent hours snorkeling in the serene waters. The food was fantastic, and the friendly staff made our stay even more enjoyable. The 2-bedroom suite with a view of the pool was spacious, clean and comfortable. Additionally, the landscaping of the hotel was breathtaking.
The only negative aspect of our stay was the lack of menu options for meals. However, the one fixed dish that was offered was delicious and made up for it. We also wished we had more time to explore the area around the hotel.

Arrived at the hotel on Christmas day for a one-week stay. the weather was excellent with guaranteed sunshine and clear blue skies. the hotel was set in beautiful grounds with stunning views of the Red Sea. We loved the fact that the hotel had a private beach with crystal-clear waters and the best reef for snorkelling. the food was excellent and we enjoyed the local cuisine. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff.
The hotel lacked entertainment or activities in the evenings. the local area had limited choices for shopping or sightseeing.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The hotel facilities were fantastic, with an astonishing art gallery-like design that made me feel like I was living inside a masterpiece. The staff were extremely friendly and always available to cater to my needs, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The location was perfect, with a short tunnel under the road that took me right to the beach. The breakfast was delicious and I never had to worry about cleanliness since this hotel is immaculate.
